How it happened

  1. 2022

    First ride, Jeddah

    Joined a cycling group in Jeddah without a bike and without knowing how to ride. Borrowed one for the first outing.

  2. 2022

    NEOM Titan Desert, first stage race

    Entered a four hundred kilometre mountain bike stage race months after learning to ride. Rode a downhill bike unsuited to the terrain and missed the time cuts.

  3. 2023

    NEOM Titan Desert, on the podium

    Returned to the same race a year later and finished third in the women's overall.

  4. 2024

    Professional contract

    Signed a professional contract after a European training camp and moved to Girona to race a full season.

  5. 2025

    AlUla Tour, back home

    Led training clinics and children's races around the AlUla Tour, in front of the country she rides for.

  6. 2028

    The target

    Qualifying for the Olympic Games. Riding strongly in the European peloton. Growing the sport at home in Saudi Arabia. These are the goals Moroj is working toward.
